I wrote this book at the airport in Shanghai, on a beach in Bali, in a coffee shop in Barcelona, and in the middle of nowhere. Whenever I felt the need to give space to my thoughts, emotions and experiences, whenever I felt there was something I needed to say, I put my inner dialogue down on paper because I simply had to.
This book was born or red-eye flights, when I was tired, when I was rested, when I was on top of the world, and when I was on my knees. This book simply happened, without me even realizing it was a book until I looked back and saw that it actually was one, and that I wanted to share it with you.
It is small yet powerful. It is meant to be your fierce encouragement, your food for thought, the light at the end of your dark tunnels, and the permission to wake up, kick ass and be extraordinary because that's what you're meant to do on this planet: Take up space, claim your voice and sing your song.
