IN DEFIANCE: A year worth living

2020 was called everything but "beautiful and poetic". Yet, despite everything, it was still a year worth living. There was still joy, and laughter, and love, and hugs, and intimacy, and sparkles of beauty
and poetry in the ordinary day.

Seeing it was a choice I made every day as I walked the streets of Barcelona with my camera, and the reason this project was born.

Choosing beauty and poetry in the midst (and in defiance) of chaos, fear and negativity is always an act of rebellion, and a path that leads to liberation, peace and healing.
